FSU Health Services

The FSU Health Multidisciplinary Center serves children ages 2 to 22 who have not yet completed high school and who are experiencing  academic and/or behavioral/emotional problems. Children and their families are able to directly self-refer for insurance or self-pay services though our online portal using the button at the bottom of the page.

Services for Children Include:

Diagnostic Evaluations

  • psychological assessment of children and adolescents
  • specialized evaluations of children suspected of having a neurodevelopmental disability
  • specialized evaluations for bilingual children

Therapeutic Interventions and Consultation

  • Individual and Family therapy
  • Outpatient group therapy services for children and their caregivers
  • Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)

It is expected that assessment and intervention activities will result in increased achievement for individual children; acquisition of alternative teaching strategies and behavior management techniques for teachers; improved parenting skills; more sophisticated diagnostic techniques for children; and improved working relationships between the community and the University.
