The Multidisciplinary Center provides both one and two semester placements of supervised training in direct mental health services conducted by students from the following graduate programs:
- Clinical Psychology
- Combined Counseling/School Psychology
- Marriage and Family
- Social Work
Primary work is conducted in surrounding counties with at-risk clients, from the kindergarten level through high school. Students are assigned clients for both individual and/or group treatment, attend weekly individual supervision, monthly group supervision and are responsible for all documentation required.
Mileage for travel to school districts is reimbursed and full-day availability is required. Fees for Level II Background Check and fingerprinting are paid by the MDC.
